J & P Brothers is a family owned and operated company specializing in interior carpentry, servicing both residential and commercial properties in 

New Jersey and New York. Founded by two brothers, Jozef and Peter, J & P Brothers is built upon a family tradition of carpentry and high end detail finishes.

Jozef and Peter are European trained master-craftsman and have over twenty seven (27) years of combined hands on experience in construction.

Raised in a family wood-working business, the brothers started their careers and mastering their trade at a young age working alongside their father.

In addition to educating themselves directly in the field, they were also trained in their craft through apprentice style schooling and have a number.

of European certificates documenting their training and level of expertise. Upon finishing school, Peter went on to start his own construction business

in Prague, where he found great success with his brother Jozef working alongside him. In Prague, they worked on many landmark

properties including one of the largest building complexes of its day, and performed several renovations of residences belonging to highly acclaimed

individuals where not only the quality of workmanship was top notch, but the level of discretion was essential.

The two brothers later brought their talent and vision to the United States. Jozef and Peter immediately surpassed their co-workers and took on roles

as foremen working on high end residential projects in New York City, New Jersey, and Connecticut. After fully acclimating to the industry standards

in the New York tri-state area, Jozef and Peter quickly realized that it was time to start their own business once more, joining their many years

of European training, skill-set, and business experience with their new experiences in the United States. Together they founded J & P Brothers.

Today, J & P Brothers works on a variety of projects including commercial offices, tenant fit-outs, retail projects, apartment renovations,

bathroom renovations, hallway and lobby renovations, and high end residential interiors.

In addition to their strong skill-set in their craft, Jozef and Peter have also mastered the art of coordination which is the key to every successful project. Communication and coordination within their team and with Project Management and other trades is essential to the success of their work.

Jozef and Peter are men of their word and they have built a team based upon the principles in which they were raised: loyalty, honesty, integrity,

structure, discipline, and respect. These principles, along with experience, education, craftsmanship and vision are what make J & P Brothers unique
